Here’s what you need to know
Booking
If you find a week that you would like to book to stay at Nether Rothiemoon, please complete and send the enquiry form, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible to let you know if it is free. We will send an email compatible booking form and our bank details. Your booking will then be provisional until we receive your completed form and non-refundable deposit [one-third of the holiday rental], at which point it will be confirmed.
Payment
The balance of your rental will then be due 4 weeks before the start date of your holiday. We also ask for a £300 ‘good housekeeping’ deposit, which will be returned to you once the housekeeper has checked that all is in order following your departure.
Dogs
We’re sorry to say that we don’t allow dogs – the cottage is surrounded by farmland and grazing livestock, including young animals for extensive parts of the year, and we just can’t take the risk. We also don’t allow smoking in the house or grounds.
House
Please bring slippers or soft indoor shoes as we don’t allow outdoor footwear past the utility room. It’s also a good idea to bring a torch in the winter time; the cottage is well away from the village lighting, and it is seriously dark outside! There is Wifi available, which is good but don't expect super fast city speeds. All bed linen and towels will be provided; including bath mats and kitchen tea towels. If your stay is over 2 weeks we can arrange for the towels to be changed over halfway.
Full terms and conditions will be sent to you along with the booking form.
